Biblical counseling is an approach to holistic soul care that is informed, bound, and shaped by the Scriptures, the authoritative Word of God.

Biblical counselors seek to apply God’s truth to every area of life, particularly when someone is struggling with sin and the trials brought on by living in a fallen world.

This is done by lovingly pointing counselees to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, focusing on change rooted in a heart that longs to please the Lord, and providing practical instruction on how to live in a way that honors God in every circumstance.

Counseling FAQ’s

  • The Gospel is the foundation for biblical counseling and places Jesus at the center of the process. It acknowledges that all individuals are broken and in need of redemption and that true healing comes through a personal relationship with Him. The focus is on helping individuals discover their identity in Christ, understand God’s purposes and plans for their lives, and find hope, forgiveness, and restoration through faith.

  • All of our counselors have been certified by various biblical counseling agencies. Many of them have served or currently serve as pastors or biblical counselors in their own local churches.

  • While each counselor is unique, you can expect them to give you the utmost attention and care, incorporating prayer and Scripture into each session. Because each case is different, your time with your counselor may vary.

  • We do not have a direct partnership with any insurance companies. We do however have various counseling plans and scholarships available to ensure we can serve anyone who desires help.

  • If you don't show up for your scheduled appointment and you haven't given a 24-hour notice in advance, you'll be required to pay the full cost of the session.
